Self catering holiday cottage sleeps 6. 3 bedrooms 2 bath rooms.

The house, situated in the Loire Valley region, is an original 17th century Touraine farmhouse, which happily has changed little over the years. It has a baked tile roof outside and a baked tile floor inside. Thick walls, low ceilings and massive beams throughout. There are two large open working fireplaces , in the kitchen and sitting room. Les Assis is a magical and tranquil place. There are comfortable beds, comfortable chairs, lots of books and maps, an endless supply of hot water, two toilets and two showers, loads of space. Bedroom 1 This is the biggest bedroom. The bed measures 4'6"x 6'3". The room has central heating. Pocket sprung mattress. Bedroom 2 (Picture to come) This room has a curtain instead of a wall on the passage side to give it a spacious airy feel. The bed measures 5'x 6'3". The room has electric heating. Good quality firm mattress. Bedroom 3 This is a view from the passage through the double doors. A standard double bed 4'6"x 6'3". A pocket sprung mattress. This room has electric heating. Bedroom 4 (Picture to come) This is the smallest room. It is reached through bedroom no.1.We use it as a dressing room but there is a perfectly comfortable single bed in it. From kitchen looking through to sitting room. There is a clothes washing machine, electric oven with grill and a gas hob. We try to make this house as much home from home for our visitors as it is for ourselves. There will be everyday emergency supplies in the cupboard, which if used should be replaced again for the next person. This is a wonderful area for "foodies" so there is a magimix and a collection of relevant (to France) cookery books. In the sitting room there are books, games and all sorts of maps. Shower rooms There are two shower rooms. One has a w.c. and the other has a separate w.c. The other shower room is not as smart as this one! There is always hot water.
