We are lucky enough to have one of the best craftsmen in Ireland working for us, so with his expertise and our knowledge and experience gained as antiques dealers, we have come up with these wonderful Headboards.

They are based on the styles of our antique beds and we use decorative antique carved wood for the frames to give them that 'vintage' look.

The headboards above are our most recent. One was made for a customer in Connecticut, USA and the other for a customer in Chepstow, England.

These Headboards are made using mainly antique carved walnut, but sometimes rosewood and oak, found in France and dating from the 19th century.

When we copy one of these styles, it will not be exactly the same. The Headboards are all individually made, using the decorative, antique carved wood for the frame, to give proportion and an individuality to work around. Each one is slightly different, a one-off. Unlike modern Headboards, these are very substantial indeed. They are much too heavy to be attached to the divan base, so they have legs to support the weight and we supply neat little hooks to attach them to the wall for stability.
