This bedstead was made for a customer who wanted an unusually wide bed.
We are pleased with the result and the proportions look just fine. We were worried in case it looked too enormous.

We put a lot of thought into each bed, but we never know until we put it all together how exactly it is going to look.
We wait until this stage before adding the finishing touches. Something simple like the shape of a decorative finial for example can alter the final look.
