Price to include an upholstered base ready for a mattress.

This substantial bed made from walnut and mahogany is 6’6” wide.
Normally substantial steel rails hold our beds together; we have them made especially for us and the mattress base sits on these, off the ground.

However in this case our customer wanted a complete bed surround. A large divan base is set in the middle, measuring 6’ wide by 6’6” long.

This to our mind is not the very best thing as it is difficult to prevent the divan base from showing at the end and sides of the bed, without spoiling the proportions by running the sides and end right down to the floor.

We managed well and the bed looks just right in it’s setting.
