Price to include a slatted wooden base ready for a mattress.
We were delighted to find this lovely provincial cot. Mostly in France
we find the ubiquitous iron cots, so this is as refreshing as it is
charming.
It is made from wild cherry, a wood that is found throughout the French
countryside and has a wonderful glow and patina of years. If you take
another look you will see that the head end is slightly different
to the foot end - plainer. That is because there would have been drapes
hanging at the head end both for decorative purposes and to keep the
baby cosy.
